A FREE consultation point for psychological and pedagogical support for the development of young children (from 2 months to 6 years old) who do not attend a preschool educational institution has been opened on the basis of the State Budgetary Institution of the POU "Nursery-kindergarten No. 17 "Kunshuak".
The family is the primary source and example of the formation of interpersonal relationships for a child, and parents are role models. There is no other institution where the patterns of formation of a future person are so accurately determined. Adults are behind behavioral problems, the peculiarities of children's relationships - their view of the world, position, behavioral stereotypes. It is impossible to solve a child's problems without taking into account the fact that he is dependent on the situation and environment in which he is. Sincere interest of adults - parents, teachers creates a good opportunity for the development of positive parent-child relationships.
One of the effective non-traditional forms of work with parents is a consultation point.
The objectives of the consultation center are to ensure continuity of family and public upbringing and education, to provide qualified pedagogical assistance to parents (legal representatives) and preschool children brought up at home, to support the comprehensive development of the individual.
Objectives of the consultation center:
-Providing comprehensive assistance to children who do not attend a preschool educational institution in order to ensure equal starting opportunities when entering school.
-Providing advisory assistance to parents (legal representatives) on various issues of upbringing, education and development of a preschool child.
-Providing assistance in the socialization of preschool children who do not attend preschool educational institutions.
-Prevention of various deviations in the physical, mental and social development of preschool children who do not attend preschool educational institutions.
-The consultation center involves interaction between the participants, mutual exchange of experience and knowledge on the problems of development and upbringing of children, contributes to a deepening of understanding and a change in their life ideas. The main category of parents who are expected at the consultation center are parents whose children do not attend preschool.
Principles of organizing the work of the consultation center:
-principle of confidentiality: information about the characteristics of the child and his family is not disclosed without the consent of the parents;
-principle of comprehensiveness: work with the child and his family is carried out by a team of specialists of different profiles;
-principle of scientific nature: information provided by the institution must be reliable and have a scientific basis;
-principle of accessibility: all information for parents is given in an accessible form without the use of unnecessary terminology.
Organization of the activities of the consultation center:
-A consultation center at the preschool is opened on the basis of the order of the head of the educational institution in the presence of the necessary sanitary and hygienic, anti-epidemic conditions, compliance with fire safety rules, personnel support, and the necessary program and methodological materials.
-The consultation center operates according to the work schedule approved by the order of the head. - Direct work with parents (legal representatives), children who do not attend the preschool educational institution is carried out by specialists of the preschool educational institution's advisory center (speech therapist, educational psychologist, physical education instructor, music director, educators in accordance with the staffing schedule).
- The working hours of the specialists of the advisory center are determined by the head of the preschool educational institution independently, based on the working hours of the preschool educational institution.
- The frequency of group classes with parents is once a month, the frequency of individual classes is determined by the needs of the parents (or legal representatives).
- The approximate topics of subgroup classes are determined by the specialists of the kindergarten, but can be changed in accordance with the requests of the parents.
- The duration of the class with children is determined by age and individual characteristics, but not more than 20 minutes. Counseling of parents up to 30 minutes.
Management of the advisory center
The general management of the advisory center of the Institution is carried out by the head of the institution.
Head of the Institution:
-ensures the creation of conditions for conducting advisory work with children and parents.
The activities of the advisory center may be terminated by liquidation by decision of the director of the education department and the head of the Institution.
